Our Story: Hospitality Meets Rocky Mountain Charm

Hello, and welcome! We are so excited to share our little piece of paradise in Estes Park with you. Our story with this beautiful place goes way back, and it’s a true labor of love for us to now host visitors from all over the world.

Our love affair with Estes Park began in the 1960s when we attended summer camps in the area as kids. We fell in love with the mountains and the town’s charm long before it became a place we would call home. In 1980, we made the big move from Alaska to Estes Park with our first son, and that’s when our connection to this special place deepened. Dick worked as the program director at a camp near Longs Peak, and it was there, surrounded by the majesty of the mountains and the joy of working with kids, that our passion for hosting visitors was born.

In fact, our third son was born right here in Estes Park, just as we were starting our first business serving the downtown merchants. We spent the next 20 years raising our family in Phoenix, but Estes Park was always in our hearts. In 2014, after years of dreaming and planning, we were finally blessed with the opportunity to move back and fulfill our dream of hosting guests in the very place that has meant so much to us. Now, we get to share the beauty, peace, and adventure of Estes Park with others through our vacation rentals.
